Well hi there! I see you have made it to my blog! My name is Kyle Quaid, and I come from a small hick town in the middle of a cornfield called Beecher. A town of only a few thousand people that is an hour away from the majestic city of Chicago. Luckily I found my way out. Now I’m living in the beautiful city of St. Louis. Even though it may not be Chicago, I am glad to call this place home. I am attending St. Louis College of Pharmacy, and I am loving every second of it. Well… maybe not EVERY second, because I have already had some brutal quests. For those of you who don’t know what a quest is, it is a cross between a quiz and a test. But past the intense curriculum, everything is amazing.
I am a very easy-going and fun-loving guy. I am always getting myself into some sort of trouble. All it ever takes is someone to say, “Hey! Why don’t we…” Usually it results in a late night trip for frozen yogurt or a 2:00 a.m. trip to Wal-Mart. However, this behavior has also put me in Chicago on Black Friday at 9:30 at night for pizza and ice skating with an ex-girlfriend. The funniest part about me being super spontaneous is that I come from a family where any trip out of Beecher with friends had to be planned out three weeks in advanced, written out, and signed in triplicate by all members attending. Needless to say, there were many adventures that my parents had no clue about.
Now that is just the fun side of Kyle. Contrary to popular belief, I do have a deep and sentimental side. I am perfectly content enjoying a comfortable silence. I am also the master of having deep and meaningful conversations at 2:00 a.m. The most memorable conversation happened at summer orientation where me and a few new friends stayed up until 4:30 a.m. We talked about everything from our old lives in high school to the new lives awaiting us once we got to STLCOP. That was the best bonding moment I have ever had. Making these good friends made coming to college seem way less scary.
Long story short, I am a collection of many different personalities. The purpose of this blog is to record all of my fun college adventures. I am an open book, so please feel free to comment
with any questions. Also, feel free to request a topic for me to talk about. However, please keep in mind that this blog is intended for all audiences. Therefore, refrain from using any vulgar language. I do reserve the right do delete any comments that are not suitable for this blog. Thank you so much for reading this, and I hope you have a super awesome and amazing day!
